Where is the Thermostat?

1994 Toyota Truck, 3.5 l 5spd manual 4wd
Trying to replace the thermostat, can't find it.
i assumed it was in the top hose connection to the engine, nothing there

Its adjacent to the water pump-its probably been removed

okay lets start with the right engine. unless this is some model only released outside of the states toyota didn't use a 3.5 engine. in 1994 they had a 3.0 and 1995 they went to a 3.4.

It has to be 3000cc engine unless it came from Bolivia

Follow the upper hose till its dead end, do not remove the clamp-remove the 2 bolts-reverse the process for reinstallation.
