2004 Toyota Pickup lights dont go out

i have a toyota tacoma and when i turn the car off and keys out of the ignition, the parking lights, brake lights, and dash board lights stay on and drain the battery. what should i do

Hi sflynn,

Check the brake switch to see if it is stuck in the on position. Pull out the switch wire connector to see if the lights go off. There should be a stopper on pedal to close the switch.

If the brake switch is malfunctioning and all lights goes off when wire connector is disconnected, you need to check the brake bulbs for proper installation.
