When my truck is on park or nuetral. There is no noise but when I put it into gear and step on gas, there is like a whinning noise under the shifter area. The noise is not so noticable but it is not normal.

Could you point to some problems/ repairs in this area. Thanks you

First check all fluid levels in transmission, differential and transfer case. Also inspect the above for leaks.
