2003 Toyota Pickup knocks when cold

90,000 MILES • 4 CYL • 2WD • MANUAL

Since my truck turned 90,000 miles it started having a knocking sound on cold mornings. i have always changed the oil every 3000 miles as I drive for the long term. what is going on?

If its knocking on the top end of the engine sound like a lifter/s leakdown problem
