I purchased this vehicle used and believe the last service was done by a Toyota dealer in another town from where I'm now living. I'm trying to do an oil change now but cannot remove the oil filter. I've tried the oil filter wrench but it's so tight that its dented the filter. Any suggestions for how to remove the filter?

Make sure you're turning it the right way-puncture thru the oil filter with a big screwdriver and work it extra careful otherwise you'll be chiseling it off.
