My tundra has been running rough lately. Mostly when idling. Sometimes my check engine light comes on. I did have it diagnosed (just w/ a meter) at a auto store and they said its misfiring in cylinders 1-3-4.
Sometimes the check engine light goes off and everything is fine. Its itermittent. What would be the most common cause. I replaced the plugs about 1000 miles ago.
Thanks

Misfires can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
