battery died. replaced battery. wont start. checked alternator 125 fuse, burned out. cant get old fuse out. major headache

Hi van,
The fuse is attached with screws, remove them before you can take the fuse out.
When 125 A fuse blows out, you should check the alternator for shorting, unless you have installed the battery wrongly to cause it.
