Air Conditioning problem
1996 Toyota Pickup 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive

How difficult is it to replace entire air conditioning system? I have been told that water moisture is in the system and that the entire system needs replacing.

I have not heard that since R12...the pag oil in R134a systems surround moisture so it doesnt damage the metal parts, evacuate and vacuum for several hours, after you replace the accumulator/drier, this will boil the moisture out.
