Hi there,

This can be a broken reaction ring in the syncro ass, or a broken detent spring, can you be a bit more precise when it pops out, randomly, when backing off the throttle, is there any gear box noise accosted with this problem?

Mark (mhpautos),
First thanks for you reply. The transmission does jump out when backing off on the throttle, and there is no noise when this happens. Thanks again.

I would be thinking it's a broken reaction ring in the syncro, this can also cause a bit of clashing when changing up, not sure if you can access the detent with the box in, so I feel it will be a box out job.
