I have a 1994 Toyota pickup with 240000 miles. The engine was rebuilt over a year ago and ran fine. The truck will start and idle fine but as soon as you touch the gas pedal it dies. It will start right back up and idle fine. You can even put it in drive while its idling and it will slowly drive under idle until you press the gas pedal and dies. The plug wires look fine. I have replaced the spark plugs and have a new battery. Any ideas on what I can check?

Hi stevenkrahn,

I would suggest checking the following

1. throttle position sendor.

2. airflow sensor.

3. fuel pressure
