1991 Toyota Pickup Winshield Wipers

When I turn on my windshield wipers, they are going too far to the left. Sometimes, my wipers get stuck on the metal on the edge of the winshield. Also when I park the truck, the wipers do not go completely down. It is higher than usual. What can be the cause of this?

The wiper arms have not been correctly position during installation.
