IM TAKING THE HEADS OFF MY ENGINE TO GET THEM RESURFACE.I REMOVED ALL THE BOLDS OROUND THE INTAKE THAT BOLTS TO THE HEAD. BUT THEY WONT BREAK APART. I TRY HITTING IT WITH A RUBBER MALLET LOW HITS. BUT THEY WILL NOT BREAK APART ITS LIKE IF THEY WERE GLUE TOGETHER.I THINK WITH THE OLD GASGET AND ALL THE MILES THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN RUNNING ITS CAUSING ME ALOT OF PROBLEMS BREAKING THEM APART. COULD YOU PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS THAT I CAN TRY ON MY OWN.

Hi there,

It sounds as if you have missed a bolt, I would check the new manifold gasket and count the bolts and see if you have miss any, with all bolts removed a solid knock should dislodge it.
