I have a noise right behind the dash. If the truck is running but not moving there is no sound. The faster the truck goes, the higher pitched the sound becomes. The speedometer works fine, but I believe it is either the gauge or the cable that is making the noise. What do you think?

I would be thinking the cable, as they can get very noisy.
