The left brake light on my 1990 toyota Pickup quit working. I replaced the bulb and checked the fuses. This still did not fix the problem. The rest of the lights work fine. What could be the problem and how can I fix this before I get pulled over for having a brake light out.

Check the green and white wire where it ties up with the right rear brake light and make sure there's no corrosion on the socket
