I have a 1990 toyota pickup with a 3.0 3vze v6 that is worn out. I purchased a 3.0 out of a 1994 toyota pickup and was going to put it in. I noticed that the distributor has a different plug, can I just cut my plug off and replace it with the plug off of the 1994? Also is there anything else that is not going to hook up or work correctly, like any other electronics?

Compare the two-if the 90 distributor can engage the camshaft of the 1994 and the insides looks identical-I'll go for it.
