The battery warning light and the brake warning light both come on whenever I apply the brakes as I am driving. what is the problem?

Check the voltage output of you alternator, should be between 13 and 14 volts. Also check battery and battery cables and terminals. Battery should be at 12volts if not charge it, if it wont hold a charge replace it.
