toyota heat indicator rises ,i let pressure of thradiator cap water begins to circulate and engine begins to cool. some times i can just let it idle and th thermostat will open and it cools properly . i have replaced the radiator cap and the thermostat. the waterpump is working. sometimes water will flow back into the over flow tube. ???

Sounds like a cooling fan or thermoswitch problem...
