When I turn on my head light and I am driving my truck, my charge light and brake light on my insturment cluster flashes on and off irraticaly. I put a new battery in and tested my alternator at 14 volts. What could it be? Also my check engine light comes on once in a while, if I let off the gas pedal and coast the truck it goes off quicker. Could that be the knock sensor?
Thanks for your help, Dan.

If the brake light and battery light are coming on then replace the alternator. The reason for both lights coming on is the bulb check in the dash gets its power for those from the voltage regulator on the alternator. Your alternator may be charging now but its going to die real soon.
