Problem gradually went from bad to worse in a couple of weeks. Engine started out misfiring once in a great while. Then progressively go worse. After a couple of weeks, it just started to run sluggish with very little power and misfires more but if speed kept under 25mph, it runs a little smoother. Changed out a lot of components that might cause the problem. I personally changed out the fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs, checked the wires, distributor & cap and the air flow meter. The mechanic checked fuel pressure, compression, readjusted the valves, basically ran the normal diagnostics with the computer, etc. The only thing left would be the exhaust system. Haven't checked out the turbo or the catalytic converter for any problems yet. Could anything of these items cause the misfiiring, sluggish power, etc???
