1986 toyota pickup

139 k miles, 22 r engine 4x2 4 speed My choke will not release. I have the Haynes manual and it does not address this problem. Choke will not release until the engine warms up and I turn it off and turn it back on. Then it runs like a sewing machine. I have already checked to make sure the choke is not stuck, checked the vacuum lines.... Anybody have any ideas??? Thanks!

In your book go to page 4-5 read 8thru15 pertaining the fast idle.also look at figure8.12 if you follow it accordingly it will solve your problem.
