I have a 1985 toyota pickup 22r engine with 189000 miles. The engine recently started missing at startup and there is black smoke from the exhaust. Once you drive the vehicle and let it warm up the missing or flooding goes away. Is this a problem with the carbuetor?Need a rebuild?

Ok I rebuilt the carb yesterday with a kit I bought. Changed alot of gaskets, needle-seat. Cleaned it out really good. It is still running too rich. Is there anything I should adjust on the carb or did I miss something. Thanks
