my truck got hot and stalled after it cooled down it will crank but not start.

Spray carb cleaner in the Carb or Throttle Body -if it fires up-you have a fuel problem if not its an ignition.

Disconnect a sparkplug wire and ground it to the engine and have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark?
