1982 Toyota Pickup Not getting power to the compresor

My a/c compresor is not getting power. Is there a relay? Does the system have to be charged ? I hear a clicking noise from the a/c box when I turn the a/c switch on.

Could be low on freon and defective clutch or the compressor itself
