1996 Toyota Paseo oil leak

my car has been leaking oil bad -about 4 quarts every other fill up -the oil seems to be coming from the top of the engine. I thought it was the front main gasket? What do you think and how diffcult would it be to fix?

Have the oil pressure sender switch checked.
