Suspected faulty fuel system

Its like the vehicle is losing power when ascending more especially in gear 2 but no problem in 4.

Timing belt was also changed at the same time.

When was it last tuned-up?

When you replaced the pump did you actually check whether its producing the correct pressure.

Could be a restriction in the exhaust system
