I drive a '95 toyota tacoma xcab 4x4. 3.4L v.6 with 138560 miles. The alternator belt broke and the battery drained obviously, i've searched online for diagrams and help on how to replace with no luck, this looks like a pretty time consuming job. I hate to $80 labor for a $10 belt, but if it comes to that I guess i'll have to. What should I do?

Eyeballs and common sense will get you thru-study it real close how to put the belt on without taking out unnecessary stuffs. Its like putting on a puzzle together.

Roundtrip ticket and a 12pack red/white/blue am on my way.

No kidding you can do it-take your time-you'll make it.

After you replace the Belt, be sure to have the battery charged. And I mean on a battery charrger. You can't charge a battery by running the truck for an hour. No matter what people tell you, that's a good way to kill an alternator.
