AC Problem

I have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma w/105,000 miles on it.
The engine is a 2.4 l, 4 cyl, 2wd, w/regular cab.

For some reason the AC Clutch will not disengage when the outside air temperature is below +/- 67 degrees F even though the AC switch is turned Off. This started to happen last fall. The AC clutch was engaged all winter (I justed realized it) and now that the temperatures are escalating it is becoming less freguent The AC cools properly and the clutch engages/disengages when the switch is turned on. Nothing is keaking. I'd replace the clutch if I was sure that it was the problem but I'm wondering if it might be something else. Can You Help Please?
