Hi I have 2003 Toyota matrix XR, the air conditioning stopped working suddenly, I thought I may be low on freon so I bought a new freon bottle with pressure gauge when I plugged the pressure gauge its showed the pressure is over 75 PSI, the 75 psi range in warning red color, when I kept the pressure gauge in the valve, the tube started getting cold, didn't pump any freon I thought its working again, but after some time when I was driving it stopped working and didnt work again.

Any idea whats going on here?

You may have answered your own question if you have to much r-12 or r-134 it will not run properly also what they fail to tell you on those little cans is you can really mess up your AC if not done right also is it still blowing air or not working at all

75psi on the low side? With the compressor running? If yes, the system may have a blockage, or the compressor is weak, not pulling vacuum. In the accumulator is a desicant bag, this is usually what breaks, and when it collapses, you have a blockage.

If it where me, I'd use a set of manifold gauges so I could get both high and low readings. If you can do this, post the result!
