Car fax report reflects automobile was in a frontal impact accident with a utility poll and the vehicle was disabled and had to be towed. If mechanic was to check this vehicle out, would they be able to tell if this was in an accident after the car was repaired.

yes there are a number of tell tail signs to indicate if a car has been repaired, you mechanic or panel shop will do this easily.
