my key won't turn over at all its stuck.i took it to fire stone and they told me my ignition cylinder is messed up.they want to charge me 485$,but is there a way a locksmith could fix it without replacing it?

Hi there,

this will depend on what is the problem, it wont hurt to remove the switch and give it to a locksmith to inspect,
