2000 Other Toyota Models Squeak when steering wheel is turne

When I turn my steering to the left and/or right, it squeaks. Sometimes it feels that it is also grabbing when I turn the steering. This usually happens in the morning but also sometimes in the afternoon.

HI there,

This could be the steering column trim touching the steering wheel, or the horn slip ring contacts under the steering wheel, if you have airbags, don't touch, get your dealer to check this out for you.
