Steering problem
2000 Other Toyota Models Two Wheel Drive Manual 86000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My power steering feels heavy when driving. On doing slow maneuvers it seems to almost seize up at times.
I have taken it back to the garage and they have told me the power steering belt was loose so they tightened it but the problems still there - please help, whats wrong????

Hi karaterusseybabe,

If the belt tension is correct, fluid level is enough and turning is equally hevy for both sides, the most probable cause is a faulty pump.
