1999 Other Toyota Models Car Jerks When I let off gas

Sometimes when I let off the gas I can feel a slight jerking. It doesn't happen everytime and it doesn't matter what speed I am going. Could the transmission be going out?

I think the situation is not that grim.

I would suggest checking for worn shaft joints or mounts.
