When I am driving my 4-runner at speed of 50-65 mph it tends to skip. It feels like I would be spinning out on ice and then catch dry pavement all of the sudden and kind of does a skip. This first happened about two weeks ago and today it did it again but after it skipped about three times my whole wheel started shaking. I have been in four wheel drive? Please help.

When was the transmission last serviced?

Try getting the throttle position and vehicle speed sensor checked
