1995 Other Toyota Models oil pump

1995 Other Toyota Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

having had to change timing chain and guides I took the front off which I take to be the oil pump to change the rubber seal and noticed that the 2 rings which rotate have a dot marked on them do these dot have to be lined up and if so with what thanks

Do the dots have align with each other and if so do they have to be pointing in particular place or just anywhere as long as they align can I give a donation through paypal thanks

Hi there,

Just as long as they are aligned, there relevant position to the engine is not important, these are only match marks for new installation, with older pumps that are a bit worn they are not that critical, just align as mentioned and all will be OK.
