1995 Other Toyota Models Harmonic balancer

1995 Other Toyota Models 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive

i am in the process of taking the front of engine off due to the plastic broken off the cam chain guides and have not been able to stop crank turning so that i can undo the nut in front of balancer if you can help in any way it would be greatly appriecated thank you

Remove the starter and with an assistant get them to lock the ring gear with a large lever while you undo the bolt.
