1993 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 Missing

I just bought a 1993 Toyota Tacoma 4X4, 4 cyl, 119000 miles. It was running fine. My 16 year old grand son hosed down the engine while cleaning it and the engine started missing on, I think, no. 1 cyclnder. I changed all the electrical, cap, rotory button, wires, and plugs. It is still missing. All that is left is the injector. Any other possiblilites?

Don't forget to look in to the posibility of water in the intake or air cleaner. The vehicle could be sucking in water and mixing that with air and gas. The air filter could be wet.
