has my timing belt gone and is it a dry belt or chain belt and will i need motor dropped to fix problem ....oh and if you know where i can get a front passenger door lock from without costing a fortune let me know

Run a compression test this will tell you if the compression is low, if it is, the belt may have jumped a tooth or two, notice any power loss?
