Engine Mechanical problem
1977 Other Toyota Models 4 cyl Automatic

RE: 1977 Toyota Corona RT-104

Dipstick says Full on oil (quality oil used), yet oil pressure light comes on when braking, BUT: only after engine has really warmed-up (like, after 5 min warm-up and 10-15 mind driving ontop of that), AND only when I get down to about 30kmph, or idling after acceleration (like stopping at lights)....I can take foot off brake and light remains on, until I press Accelerator....help?!?

dont worry, this is not abnormal. if the idle is alittle low this could cause this, a slightly out of calibration oil pressure switch could also cause this. these engines need very little oil pressure at idle and where the oil pressure switch is located is at the end of the line. i would first make sure idle is ok then replace oil pressure sending unit and take it from there. hope this helps
