1992 Toyota MR2 Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 60000 miles

friend has this car and it been in an unheated garage since 1998. Not started once. How do you check it out to see what's good and what needs fixed?

first of all, the whole fuel system will have to be drained and replaced with new fuel and more then likely you will need a new battery.. then disconnect the ignition coil and crank it a few times and then reconnect the coil and see if it starts up.
