Engine Mechanical problem
1991 Toyota MR2 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

i have a 91 toyota mr2. it just to drive fine. a couple of weeks ago it lost power so i can't drive it any more. at first i thought it was the clutch so i bought it and was getting ready to replace it, but now i'm not so sure it is the clutch itself or it might not be the clutch at all. it turns on fine but when i step on the gas it has no power was so ever even when its in neutral. the motor shakes a bit and it makes a squeaking noise as if it was a belt or something. i really don't know what the problem might be. could you tell me.
