My car has been a nice drivable car, one day i was driving with no problem... the it would not auto shift or shift if i try to manually do so, i put the gas puddle on the floor and it not go any fast then 5 mph, and it drain my battery dead... next day i try to start it wont start or turn over, battery was good got it charged, next day after battery was dead...
I had a new starter, i had it check once they said i have to rebuild it, water got in the valve, witch i have no idea what the really is on my car...
what do could this be?

Good place to start is have the alternator and battery load tested the parameter sensors needs the correct voltages to operate effectively could be the TPS and VSS sensors that's causing the shifting problems

Ok I did some research on VSS and TPS

For the VSS would you have to drop the engine in order to check or would a diagnostic test work?

For the TPS I can find where its located is there any pic that could be shared if any?

Check the exhaust system for restriction catalytic converter could be clogged-up VSS REMOVAL OF SPEED SENSOR (A241E/4A-GZE) REMOVE INTERCOOLER Disconnect the two hose clamps, and remove the four bolts and intercooler. REMOVE AIR FLOW METER AND AIR CLEANER HOSE DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR REMOVE RETAINING PLATE REMOVE SPEED SENSOR AND O-RING INSPECTION OF SPEED SENSOR INSPECT SPEED SENSOR Connect an ohmmeter between the terminals. Bring a magnet close to then away from the sensor tip and check that the meter needle deflects from 0 ohm to infinity ohms TPS
