2003 Toyota Matrix oil drips

i noticed that my car started dripping oil for the past couple of days. the drips are between 3-8 drips, quarter size and spread out between the two front tires.

i really can't afford to have someone take a look just to talk me into spending way more money than i need to because i don't understand what they are talking about.

so i figure, if i get some kind of idea of what it could be, then i will be a little more prepared taking my car to a mechanic.

The leak could be coming from anywhere from the engine-oil filter, oil pan gasket, front cover and valve cover-you need to locate the leak in order for us to advice
