I have a 2012 Toyota LC200 turbo diesel. Mileage at 55000 kms. My problem started when I started my vehicle one morning then went somewhere for a few kilometers then my engine stalled. 4LO lights blinking and checking engine lights on. I tried to crank the ignition, but it just wouldn't start, and I heard only sound of cranking. I left my vehicle for a few hours then when I returned, I tried starting the engine and it started, moved it for a few meters then the engine stopped working again. Same 4Lo lights blinking and check engine lights on. What was weird was we brought the vehicle is a Toyota official service shop and after left there for two weeks, they mentioned no issues. We were able to bring it home then the next day. The following day we were able to use it for a few kilometers then it stalled again and having the same issue with blinking 4LO and check engine lights on.

What do you think is the issue?

It sounds like the EFI relay could be going out or the truck is going into limp mode but we need to scan the system for stored codes so we can go in the right direction on how to fix it.

Here are two guides that will help us:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/reduced-power-limp-mode

You might want to service the throttle body, here is how in this guide with image below to show you how on your engine:

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Hi, these are the errors that comes out of the computer:

p0107 manifold absolute pressure/barometer pressure circuit low

p0117 engine coolant temperature sensor1 circuit low

p1496 the dtc defined by manufacturer

(P1496 intake air temperature sensor 1 circuit low)

p1611 the dtc defined by manufacturer

(P1611 ECM/PCM processor/run pulse)

p2228 barometric sensor pressure 'A' circuit low

Also, when we pull out the battery terminal and plug it again, the car starts and when moving a few meters and we start to turn right, the car stalls then check engine and 4LO lights turn on.

Yep, it sounds like limp mode but with these codes it looks like the exhaust system might be clogged up, but I would try to replace the MAP sensor to see if things change. Clear the codes once the sensor has been changed. Also, service the throttle bore as well.

What we did was check the wires connecting to the PCM/ECU and found out some wires were loose, so we disconnected and reconnected again. So far used for a few hours and hasn't stalled yet. Will update if anything happens again.

Thank you so much for all your advice.
