Hello there! I have 1988 fj62 with automatic trans.., the valve making noise at idle and high speed, i had adjust the valve afew times but no luck, change oil and filter put rislone oil treatment and CD2 but still no luck, Please can you help me with noisy problem

Hi there, If you have re set the valve clearance correctly (this is done hot) and you are still getting noise, you may have a worn valve guide, this can be checked but it is a delicate operation as it entails removing the valve spring and checking for guide ware, this is best left to a mechanic to check.
