have a new short motor and head, fuel pump has been serviced pump timed 18 deg BTDC, engine starts then shuts itself off after a few mins, will drive but sluggish. have to keep bleeding valve at filter to start.

Check all fuel lines for any air leaks, check for any signs of fuel leaking from the injector pump, if this is the last of the 2H engines, check that the primer pump is serviceable as these do cause problems.
