Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1987 Toyota Landcruiser 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

HI, I have a landcruiser BJ74 series. I got stuck in mud the other day. Got out locked the manual hubs and engaged 4 low. I remained stuck and had to be winched out. I noticed during that when I was trying to get out the front two tyres were not moving at al. They remained stationery even though 4wd was engaged. Since then have had the vacuum switches changed, the transfer case opened (nothing wrong), but still when I engage 4low the front tyres do not rotate.
Any suggestions?l

depending on your whether where you are at, the grease inside the hubs gets very cold, and the hubs do not engage. When is the last time you service your hubs?
