1984 Toyota Landcruiser 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

I am needing to know the best way to set my Valve Rocker and Head Bolt tension settings in my Landcruiser. Is this something I can do myself at home.

Hi there,

If the head has not been removed you should not touch the head bolts, you can do the valve clearances, but i need to know if it is a petrol or diesel engine, and before you attempt this, are you familiar with the method of re setting valve clearances?

It is a petrol engine and no I am not to familar with the Method of re setting valve clearences. I do have a mate that is a little and has offered to also help if needed.
