2006 Toyota Highlander Heater/ Air Cond Control Panel

The fan speed can't be controlled manually. The speeds do work in auto mode. Dealer says to rpl the control panel. How do I get the trim off to get to the circuit board behind the knobs. Is this easy or do I have to take apart the whole dash?

11. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY CENTER a. Using a molding remover, disengage the 8 clips. b. Disconnect the connectors, then remove the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly center. HINT: Set the shift lever in the N position.
