Rear right direction signal

The right rear direction light does not light it also is the hazard light. Replaced bulb. Nothing. Has interchagable sockets. Tried the left socket. Nothing.
appears no power is in the contacts. Maybe a ground
wire. Problem. Everything light works except that one socket. I guess I should check it with a voltage tester
